De-tangling Mindfulness

Mindfulness is very popular these days. It is all the rage. But sometimes the mystery and mystique of mindfulness blinds us to what it really is. Being and breathing. Nothing fancy. Nothing esoteric. But SO difficult to do. Oh so difficult.

Long ago, a woman shared this image that helps me BE and BREATHE. She shared the idea of looking down where her feet are and gently tugging her head back to the same location. Same zip code, same room, same spot. And that she pronounced is "mindfulness".

So look down. Where are your feet? And check in - where is your head? Gently draw your head back to your feet's locale. And Breathe.
